Who We Are Moxie Books is a publishing co-op built by authors, for authors. We exist for one simple reason: to give writers the power, credibility, and support of a real publishing house—without giving up their rights, their voice, or their future.
Moxie Books operates as an independent literary imprint owned by its members. Instead of authors paying thousands to be “published” or surrendering control to traditional publishers, our writers share in the infrastructure of a professional press: ISBNs, editorial services, distribution pathways, review access, marketing channels, and a recognized imprint name. Every book released through Moxie Books is published under our collective banner, which allows our authors to reach bookstores, libraries, reviewers, and readers with the legitimacy of a traditional press—while still keeping their creative and financial independence.
We are not a vanity press. We are not a pay-to-publish operation. We are a cooperative of working writers building something better.
